We shall consider the universe, God and life; Planet Earth and the world of creation as a reflection of the Divine. Who are we as human beings made in the image and likeness of God? Where does our vision of life come from? How has God communicated and how does God communicate with his creation?
Where am I in relation to God, creation and other people?
Who is it for? Anyone who wonders about the meaning of life and how it all fits together; what difference God makes; who am I and what is my focus right now?
What happens? In the mornings there will be sharing and discussion, talks, use of the library and time to reflect. Afternoons will be free for outings to places of interest, country walks or relaxation in the house and grounds. There will be times of worship and other opportunities for participants to contribute to the programme.
Mary Duckworth has always been interested in the meaning of life. She is grateful to have been brought up in the Swedenborgian tradition where she gained a cohesive, universal view of life. She is now a minister and loves bringing like-minded people together in workshops and retreats to share, learn from each other and grow spiritually. For her focussing on the Lord and his Word is the basis for all this.
