Autumn Studies – The Life of Elisha

30 September 2019 at 4:00 pm - 4 October 2019 at 11:30 am

Swedenborg believed that the Bible should be read as a multi-layered description of the spiritual realities within us and in the world beyond.

In this relaxed and friendly few days together we will be looking at the whole life of Elisha as related in the Book of Kings, and whose name first occurs in the command given to Elijah to anoint him as his successor.

Working from the text we will examine Elisha’s life in the light of Swedenborg’s writings – to see what unfolds for us as we explore the turbulent events he lived through and in the process discover more of the Lord and how He is revealed to us through the prophetic and historical Old Testament.

Costs: En-suite – £210   Standard – £170

Please note booking for this event closes on the 23rd September which is one week before the event date.
