Do you experience times of connection to something larger than yourself and yet at others feel isolated and fragmented? Both of these extremes appear to be part of the human condition.
If we look at how the world of nature operates we can see that each creature or organism is part of an ecosystem, each playing its part in the whole and how it functions.
Are we a part of a spiritual ecosystem in which we can choose to play our part in increasing a universal spiritual health and well-being? Perhaps we can view our own daily efforts to live lovingly and wisely as contributing to the cosmic source which we call heaven.
This concept of a spiritual ecosystem is universal; it is termed the Body of Christ in the Christian tradition, Adam Kadmon of the Kabbalah and the Divine Human in Swedenborg’s revelation. This is a concept of community that transcends physicality and expands to embrace all humanity that chooses freely to walk the path of love united with wisdom.
This weekend will involve talks, discussion, meditation and opportunities to experience stillness and peace.
This weekend is hosted and offered by the Swedenborg Open Learning Centre and a team of speakers will include Helen Brown, Michael Stanley, Helen Newton and Carole Lacy.
The weekend starts with an evening meal at 7.00pm on Friday 8th February and ends after lunch on Sunday 10th.
Cost: £125 en-suite room and £105 standard accommodation.
