Spiritual Geography

Event Title:Spiritual Geography
Leader(s):Alan Bowie
Start Date:Friday 09 March 2012 - 16:00
End Date:Sunday 11 March 2012 - 14:00

Alan Defines spiritual geography as the study of the spiritual meanings of the nations of the Middle East in Biblical times.  The nations in and around Canaan correspond to aspects of our spiritual lives in a similar fashion to the twelve tribes of Israel or the twelve disciples.  During the weekend you will be introduced to the nations, and the way we are influenced by them.

Part of the course will be devoted to your own research in groups of 2 or 3 on one or more of the nations.  you will have access to the Purley Library and the internet.  To facilitate this it would be helpful if you could bring your laptop or similar device if you have one.
